One of the other club members had the idea to line up and stagger all four of the trains on the main line for a series of “publicity shots.” From left to right, the “George Washington”, “Empire Builder” and “North Coast Limited” hold the main lines while the “City of Los Angeles” is relegated to a passing siding. In the background, a Pennsylvania coach set rests quietly in the yard.
